Emergency landing for Miley Cyrus, the plane was struck by lightning (Video)

The plane on which Miley Cyrus was flying was forced to make an emergency landing after being struck by lightning. The pop star, who was headed to Paraguay to perform at the Asuncionico festival, posted a message to her fans on her Instagram profile with a video of a flash taken from one of the plane’s windows. “To my fans and to all those who were worried after learning about my flight to Asunción – wrote Cyrus – Our plane was in the middle of a severe unexpected storm and was struck by lightning. The crew, the band, friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing. Unfortunately we were unable to fly to Paraguay. I love you. ” Cyrus also posted a photo with the spot where the plane was hit where damage from lightning is visible. The weather conditions were so bad in Paraguay that the first day of the festival was canceled. This means that other artists such as Foo Fighters, Machine Gun Kelly and Doja Cat were also unable to perform.
