YouTube star Jamal Edwards died aged 31

Jamal Edwards, a British businessman and YouTube star, has died at the age of 31. This was communicated, without specifying the causes of death, by Sbtv, the company he had founded and which, with its online urban music platform, has helped launch the careers of artists such as Dave, Ed Sheeran and Skepta. Edwards was born in Luton and was a pioneer of British rap and grime music. He had also been appointed ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, a youth charity run by the Prince of Wales that helps young people start their own companies. In early February he had attended the Brit Awards.
