Elisa is back with ‘Seta’, the first one from her new album

Elisa returns to the record scene with “Seta” (https://island.lnk.to/seta), the first single from her new album to be released in 2022 by Island Records. The song will be available for radio rotation from Friday 26 November. Three years after “Open Diaries”, Double Platinum certified, Elisa is back with an impressive work that encompasses her various souls; a double album of unreleased songs, one in Italian and one in English (in this part, Elisa also took care of the entire production). The forerunner of the project is “Seta”, which travels on a sound carpet of electronics and synths, in which music becomes a meeting between melody and word in the intense production signed by Drd. With music composed by Elisa and Dario Faini herself, the piece was written by the artist together with Davide Petrella. To accompany the track comes a video clip with a strong emotional impact that immediately strikes for the extremely direct way in which it deals with important issues. The video, written in its screenplay by Elisa and directed by Attilio Cusani, sees the extraordinary participation in the artistic direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of the Valentino maison, who immediately embraced the idea of ​​this project. Songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer, Elisa in her career has conquered numerous Platinum and Diamond Records, and collaborated with great artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Ennio Morricone, Tina Turner, Dolores O’Riordan, Imagine Dragons, among others. In Italy he obtained all the main prizes and awards in the music field: the Sanremo Festival in 2001 with the song “Luce (Tramonti a Nord Est)” – thanks to which he won six prizes, including first place in the Big category -, the Targa Tenco, 2 Lunezia Awards, 15 Italian Wind Music Awards, the Festivalbar, the Silver Ribbon; as well as an MTV Europe Music Award and a Television Direction Award. Her voice has enchanted directors like Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton who wanted her in the soundtrack of their films (“Django Unchained” and “Dumbo” by Disney). He also sang and dubbed for Disney in the blockbuster “The Lion King”. In 2019 Mattel dedicated her a Barbie with her likeness as a positive model for the next generations. Elisa is also an Ambassador for Save The Children.
