Tampon tax, maneuver 2022: VAT for sanitary towels drops to 10%

The VAT on sanitary towels drops from 22% to 10%. The reduction of the tampon tax is launched by the government in the 2022 maneuver and included in the note that follows the approval of the Dpb by the Council of Ministers. Among the measures, in fact, “the cut from 22% to 10% of VAT on absorbent products for feminine hygiene” stands out.
