This was stated by Geronimo Cardia, president of Acadi-Confcommercio, in his speech at the conference ‘Legal game: the need for reorganization – Proposals for an organic reform of the sector’, organized by the Milton Friedman Institute and streamed by Agimeg. Furthermore, he added, the legal gambling halls are also a “health center, because there the State puts the game on the ground with the characteristics it has decided, with precise rules, being able to intervene in the fight against gambling addiction”. As for the reorganization of the sector, said Cardia, “today we only have an idea, but we need to work with our heads down. It takes time, we say 2023, but if we wait until 2023 and nothing happens, the sector will not resist.
