The board of directors of the Enasarco Foundation has launched the 2021 welfare benefits program. Among the main innovations is the introduction of the ‘Women’s Health Project’, proposed with an amendment by the Vice President Leonardo Catarci. The welfare benefits program approved annually by the institution, to guarantee welfare measures in support of the professional and family life of the members of the Foundation, envisages a budget of 22.5 million euros and will be integrated with a service to support the health of the members as desired and requested by the assembly of delegates during the meeting of 30 November 2020 for the approval of the 2021 budget. In addition to the contributions for maternity support, starting from this year, the members will be able to enjoy a reimbursement of the cost incurred for the use of a check-up provided by the National Health Service or by a private affiliated facility. “It is – said the vice president Leonardo Catarci – a measure strongly desired by the assembly of delegates and the board of directors, women play a primary role in life, but in the world of work their value is very often not encouraged and protected. . Following an analysis of the main oncological data of the female world, we have chosen to encourage those enrolled to undergo screening and prevention programs which, as stated by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, remains the most effective treatment “. “Strengthening the level of participation of women in the panorama of the agency – reaffirms the president Antonello Marzolla – also requires guaranteeing correct and efficient professional development, without forgetting that health protection is a fundamental element for achieving this goal”.
