The Leonardo Awards to the talent of Italian companies are back, presented today during a ceremony held in the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. The winners are: Allegrini (Managing Partner Marilisa Allegrini), a family business dedicated to the production of wine for generations and engaged at the forefront in the enhancement and promotion of Valpolicella; Avio (CEO Giulio Ranzo), an international group leader in the sector of space launchers, propulsion and space transport; Fabbri 1905 (CEO Nicola Fabbri), a fifth generation family holding company, known all over the world for its black cherry, produces and distributes over 1,300 products including liqueurs, syrups and ingredients for artisanal ice cream and pastry; Flou (President and CEO Massimiliano Messina), international leader in the production of design beds and furniture for the living room. The Leonardo International 2019 Award was awarded to Beda Bolzenius, president and to Marelli, who, through his activity as manager, with the investment in Magneti Marelli and the creation of the global Marelli brand, contributed to strengthening economic collaboration relationships. and commercial between Italian and Japanese companies, representing an extraordinary example of how foreign investors can contribute to strengthening the competitiveness and innovation capacity of the Italian industry.
