A great responsibility that, as entrepreneurs, we have felt in recent months. We have put ourselves with great commitment to identify a formula achievable, suggestive and sustainable: a great opportunity to measure ourselves with experimentation and our creativity. Today we are happy with how this edition started, it is a great result that we expect to continue until closing. Cutting the ribbon of the supersalone was one way tangible to tell the world that Italy is back to racing “. From the findings of the Monitor of the FederlegnoArredo Studies Center on the first half of 2021, compared to the corresponding period of 2020, an increase of 56.2% in the furniture system emerges, with a recovery in particular on the Italian market (+ 65%). Also considering the data for the 1st half of 2019, there is an increase compared to this period (+ 15.4%) in total sales and + 19.5% for sales in Italy. The forecasts are also positive (on average + 22.9%, without substantial differences between Italy and abroad). Many assume a year end 2021 compared to 2020 between +10 and + 30%. At the same time, the furniture companies show difficulties linked in the first place to scarcity and out of control costs of raw materials and, secondly, to the difficult finding of containers. These elements, combined with the uncertainty linked to Covid, make the forecasts very unstable even if positive.
