Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, with 28 more PhD scholarships

Funding from the European Social Fund for the “React-Eu” program (English acronym “Assistance to recovery for cohesion and the territories of Europe), one of those that make up the” basket “of the so-called” Recovery Plan “, and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa is announcing a further 28 doctoral positions, supported by as many scholarships, in two strategic sectors for the recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic: innovation, enabling and inclusive technologies; “green” issues, linked to sustainable and inclusive development, with particular attention to key words such as defense of biodiversity, fight against climate change, diffusion of the circular economy. One of the added values ​​of the call is the period to be spent in a company or institution, for a “field test” of the skills acquired in the three years of the course. The deadline for submitting applications for the 28 additional places is set for October 4, 2021, while the start of lessons is scheduled for December 1, 2021. Also for this PhD call, the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna is aimed at graduates and talented graduates from all over the world, who intend to start a path between study and research, with the support of supervising teachers, to enhance their skills in crucial areas for the future of the world. The new 28 posts, financed thanks to the allocation of European funding by the Ministry of University and Research, on the basis of the decree issued on 10 August 2021, thus implementing two actions envisaged under the “National Research and Innovation Operational Program 2014 – 2020 “.
