Cingolani: ‘Here the tip of innovation and sustainability’

This was stated by the Minister of Ecological Transition, Roberto Cingolani, taking part in a talk at the ‘supersalone’ at the Fiera di Rho (Milan). “We are rethinking the world right now – explained Cingolani -. We hope to get out of a period that is comparable to that of the great wars and epidemics. No one has remained untouched. Even the great cities of the world have suffered infernal consequences”. The supersalone, he added, “is an extraordinary opportunity, also because the message being given to the world is that such an excellent component of Italy is able to introduce sustainability even in the exhibition area in such a physiological way” . For Cingolani “it is impressive because it gives the idea of ​​elegance and sobriety that is combined with the excellence of Italian furniture, an excellence that is recognized all over the world”. the supersalone, which will be entirely recycled at the end of the event, the minister added: “It seems to me a phenomenal effort because the structures are already disassembled and reused, they show that the so-called ‘life cycle assessment’ has been done, that is to think of an object from ‘beginning at the end for its entire life cycle and also for what it will become after. It happens in all worlds of technology, from automotive to airplanes and now it is also happening in a world as focused on creativity as the Salone del Mobile “. “In my opinion – concluded Cingolani – it is a phenomenal experience and I am very happy to be able to see these things. It is an exceptional thing that drives internationally and puts Italy in first position”.
