Global energy-related greenhouse gas emissions are expected to reach a “peak” in 2025. This was stated by the International Energy Agency in its annual report 2022. For the Agency since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, energy markets and public policies have changed for decades to come with some countries looking to increase or diversify their oil or gas supply.
