Mazzone (Accenture), ‘in the Metaverse many opportunities for all sectors’

“There are many people who wonder which companies and sectors were the first to enter the Metaverse and we can confidently say that the fashion industry was the first to make the most of the opportunities it offers, followed immediately after that of beauty “. These are the words of Maria Mazzone, Managing Director of Accenture and Head of the innovation and Metaverso area, on the sidelines of the ninth edition of the Accenture Banking Conference, the annual appointment dedicated to the CEOs and C-Levels of the main Italian banks that offers a space for reflection and discussion on the sector and outlines the characteristics of the bank in the future, held at the Accenture Customer Innovation Network (Acin). “Even the entertainment, media, Made in Italy, food and beverage and alcoholic beverages sectors are moving quickly to win a slice of Metaverso”, Mazzone added, and then concluded by explaining that this new digital and immersive world offers valuable opportunities not only to consumers, but also to companies: “Through the Metaverse it is also possible to implement internal company offers, with refresher courses, training sessions, recruiting campaigns and onboarding paths.
