Technological innovation strengthens the food sector. This is the case of Onyon (On your own), the new self-ordering application that facilitates the work of waiters and managers and which recorded not only an increase in orders but above all in reorders up to an estimated + 22%, in particularly when the place is crowded and the staff is unable to adequately manage all requests, thus leading to an increase in the average receipt (+ 12% estimated) and turnover, also facilitating the turnover of the tables. The new self-ordering application facilitates the work of waiters and managers, allowing customers to order and pay at the table directly from their smartphone in total autonomy and at any time. Onyon was born from the idea of ​​the serial entrepreneur Marco Actis and the co-founder Paola Lombardi, a well-tested couple as CEO and Coo who in 2018 led to an exit in favor of an international group, the startup of the last mile delivery Pony Zero. Onyon was born in Turin in 2020 following a pre-seed round by a financial investment holding and a first pre-launch phase in 2021, seeing the activation in over 100 locations between the cities of Turin and Milan and today it aims for expansion on a national scale.
