Electricity, price rises again: costs almost doubled in one month

The average price of electricity continues to grow and, as reported by the Energy Market Operator, from Monday 4th to Sunday 10th July stood at € 395.28 / MWh. In the previous seven days it was at € 362.05, while compared to a month earlier the value almost doubled (it was at € 206.27 in the week 6-12 June). The volumes of electricity traded directly on the GME stock exchange amounted to 4.8 million MWh, with liquidity at 75.2%. Average sales prices varied between € 384.67 / MWh in the South, Calabria and Sicily and € 397.35 / MWh in the North and Center North.
