At the start of the seventh Civ council of Inail, Guglielmo Loy elected to the presidency

The seventh council of the Inail Steering and Supervisory Board, reconstituted with a decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of last May 26, officially started today with the inauguration meeting which took place in Rome, at the headquarters of the Via IV Novembre Institute, in the presence of the Minister of Labor and Social Policies, Andrea Orlando. During the meeting, Guglielmo Loy, who succeeds Giovanni Luciano, was elected chairman of the body that defines the guidelines and determines the long-term strategic objectives of Inail. The vice president, Fabio Pontrandolfi (representing the companies) was also elected. In his inauguration speech, the new president thanked all those who collaborate with the Civ, the representatives of the vigilant institutions, the minister of labor and social policies, Andrea Orlando, the president, Franco Bettoni, the general manager, Andrea Tardiola, the representatives of the other organs of the Institute and all the social partners represented on the Council. Loy continued his speech by recalling how, due to the pandemic, the institutions found themselves having to urgently reassess the value of the public role in health policies. “Health – Loy declared – is not only emergency care but also specialization and prevention. A mix that leads us to underline how Inail has a central role in the construction of more effective, rational, specialized policies. it may not be supported by the institutions recognizing the autonomy of the body to allow greater investments in prevention, research, assistance “. The other 16 members of the Steering and Supervisory Board representing the over 21 million policyholders and beneficiaries of Inail services are: Roberto Bussolotti (Ugl), Sebastiano Calleri (Cgil), Angelo Emilio Colombini (Cisl), Cinzia Frascheri (Cisl), Giovanni Luciano (Confsal), Giorgia Marchioro (Cgil) and Barbara Orlandi (Cgil), representing employees; Marco Abatecola (Confcommercio), Roberto Caponi (Confagricoltura), Giulia Dongiovanni (Confindustria), Francesca Ferrocci (Confindustria) and Fabio Pontrandolfi (Confindustria), representing employers; Barbara Gatto (joint designation Confartigianato, Cna, Casartigiani), Romano Magrini (Coldiretti) and Sabina Valentini (joint designation Confcooperative, Legacoop, Agci) representing self-employed workers; Emidio Deandri, representing Anmil.
