The General Assembly of the Italian Federation of newspaper publishers met today in Rome. The Fieg Assembly decided to renew full confidence in the President-in-office, Andrea Riffeser Monti, the Vice-Presidents Francesco Dini and Giuseppe Ferrauto, the Directors in charge Francesco Dini (market and advertising), Carlo Ignazio Fantola (distribution and sales), Lino Morgante ( trade union relations) and Carlo Mandelli (protection of copyright and competition) and to all the other corporate bodies, postponing the elections to June 2023. The Fieg Assembly, after having positively evaluated the work carried out in the last four years, wanted thus guarantee continuity to the action of the Federation engaged in dialogue with the Government for the implementation of the provisions in support of the sector and ensure the completion of the activities in progress. The President Andrea Riffeser Monti thanked all the editors for their trust and confirmed their his commitment to guide the Federation for the modernization and capillarity of the distribution and sales network of edi products torial, for the protection of copyright, for the enhancement of journalistic work and to ensure continuity to the efforts underway to recruit new journalists for the necessary generational turnover to guarantee technological innovation in the sector.
