“Let’s start with certain numbers: those of the exhibitors are in line with 2019, we are talking about over 2,100, we have an occupied area of ​​200 thousand net square meters, 590 foreign exhibitors, representing 27% of the exhibitors. These are elements that bring this Show closer to that of the 2019. From this point of view, the edition presents itself with a surprise, it anticipated a recovery that we have planned for 2025. It is a pleasant surprise that these numbers are like those of 2019 “. To tell AdnKronos this is Enrico Pazzali, president of the Fiera Milano Foundation, who takes a first photograph of the sixtieth edition of the Salone del Mobile, running until next Sunday at the Milan Fair in Rho. “Now we are analyzing the data of visitors and buyers – remarks Pazzali – two days before the start of the Exhibition it is not possible to make a balance but both the first and second days were exactly the same as those of three years ago. At the end of the event we will be able to say if the numbers are identical to those of 2019. We have a figure, however, which is that on the occupancy of the machines, which is a bit more than in 2019, a very positive figure from the point of view of participation in the Show. an edition that cannot be considered a restart but almost ordinary compared to 2019 and the previous ones “. The absence of Russia and China at the Salone, underlines Pazzali,” affects “but for the design, he remembers,” Russia represents 1 , 9% of buyers, a small number. We are perceiving that there are more visitors from the Emirates, India and Korea than in previous years “. Soon, however, to say that they will compensate for the absences of Russians and Chinese. “We have to wait until the end of the event – observes Pazzali – but we know that these three countries are entering the Italian market”. The success of the Salone is just one of the many elements that make up Fiera Miano. “The schedule is very rich – points out Pazzali – Fiera Milano has rescheduled all the events, it will have a 100% schedule as planned last year and I am very happy as a shareholder”.
