The propensity for Italian insurance, health and family to the top is rising

The propensity for insurance among Italians is increasing: health and the family remain, today as well as in the future, the first assets to be insured. This is what emerges from a Bva-Doxa research conducted for Groupama Assicurazioni on the occasion of the second edition of the ‘Change Lab, Italy 2030’ Observatory on trends from now to 2030. Among the insurance coverage that Italians aspire to, health remains in fact priority for 4 out of 10 Italians (40%), a percentage that rises to 64% for singles with older children. Followed by life insurance policies (28%), supplementary pensions (26%), investment solutions (14%), which mainly attract the youngest (21%). After the outbreak of the pandemic, 40% of Italian singles with small children they say they are ready to take out a new insurance coverage, 13% of the sample declares that they have already stipulated it, 28% would have liked to do so but were forced to give up to meet other spending priorities. The survey confirms that the most widespread policies in the Covid era concern health (46%), life (38%), housing (34%), supplementary pensions (31%). In addition, just over 2 out of 10 Italians (24%) have decided to also adopt investment insurance solutions.
