PayPal, yes to cryptocurrency transfers

PayPal opens up to cryptocurrencies. In a statement, the payment services company announced that it “will support the native transfer of cryptocurrencies between PayPal and other wallets and exchanges”. The feature will reportedly only be available in the US for now, within a week or two at the latest. It is since 2020 that PayPal has launched cryptographic services for its users, allowing you to buy, sell and hold bitcoin and a few other digital currencies on your account. But until now it was not possible to send them to an external wallet. Expanding crypto services would be part of the company’s long-term plans, which has seen its share price plummet from $ 300 to less than $ 90 in the past year.
