Piazza Affari week starts with the plus sign

The green light of the Chinese authorities for the reopening has allowed the European stock exchanges to start the week with a solid rise. Positive indications also came from Frankfurt where, according to insiders, the ECB is thinking of a plan to calm the yields of the government bonds of the most indebted countries (the rumor has allowed the BTP-Bund spread to close in the red by almost 2% at 209 basis points). Instead, the performance of Nexi (+ 3.83%), Banca Generali (+ 3.01%) and of FinecoBank (+ 2.97%). Banks also did well, with + 3.27% from Intesa Sanpaolo, + 2.64% from UniCredit and + 3.65% from Bper Banca. The latter completed the acquisition from the Interbank Deposit Protection Fund and the voluntary intervention scheme of 79.418% of the share capital of Banca Carige (+0.38%). According to rumors reported by the major agencies, Eni (+1 , 22%) and Repsol could send Venezuelan oil to Europe to offset Russian crude. Earnings day also for Enel (+ 2.1%) and for Stellantis (+ 1.93%). FCA has signed an agreement with the US authorities to close an investigation on diesel emissions. The agreement provides for the payment of 301 million dollars (already set aside). Among the few negative performances we find that of Leonardo (-0.53%) penalized by the presumably long times for the sale of the stake in Oto Melara. (in collaboration with Money.it)
