Fondirigenti, Massimo Sabatini new general manager

Massimo Sabatini is the new general manager of Fondirigenti, the fund for continuous management training promoted by Confindustria and Federmanager. The appointment was made official in the meeting of the board of directors held on Thursday 22 July. Sabatini takes over from Costanza Patti who, after five years, leaves the leadership of the Fund. Massimo Sabatini, born in Rome in 1967, has a deep knowledge of association systems, community policies and financing for development and territorial rebalancing. He was director general of the Agency for territorial cohesion, with responsibility for coordinating the surveillance, monitoring and supervision of the implementation of the European and national cohesion policy operational programs, and for supporting the implementation of programs with accompaniment to administrations. Previously, he held the role of director of the regional policies and territorial cohesion area and of the southern area of ​​Confindustria, assuming organizational responsibilities of the council of regional representatives of Confindustria, of the coordination of the directors of the regional Confindustria and of the monitoring and implementation of main intervention tools in favor of southern companies. Expert in cohesion policies, he was part of the high-level group for the simplification of structural funds for beneficiaries, wanted by the European Commission to outline possible simplification initiatives in view of the new 2021-27 structural funds regulations. He is the author of research and publications on Mezzogiorno, cohesion policies, industrial policies and incentive mechanisms for businesses. He has taught on the issues of EU funding and European and national cohesion policies. Fondirigenti is the leading interprofessional fund in Italy for the financing of executive training, with over 14,000 member companies and 80,000 managers.
