Piazza Affari closed the week above 25 thousand points

Closing of the week in solid positive territory for the Milan stock exchange. Thanks to a + 1.29%, the Ftse Mib managed to return above 25 thousand points, stopping at 25,124.91 points. Temporarily putting aside the tensions related to the advance of the Delta variant, and in the aftermath of the meeting in which the ECB confirmed a “dove” approach, Piazza Affari showed another plus sign, showing that it has definitively put itself behind the thud recorded at the start of the week. The blue chip basket was driven by utilities (A2A recorded a + 2.83%, Terna a 1.92% and Snam a + 1.79%) and the securities of the banking sector (+ 1.78% of UniCredit, + 1.53% for Intesa Sanpaolo). The indications coming from the Intel quarterly report allowed STMicroelectronics to score, with a + 2.82%, the best performance of the Ftse Mib. On the day in which Equita analysts confirmed the purchase valuations on Eni and Tenaris and the “holding” of Saipem, the three stocks respectively recorded + 0.26%, + 1.16% and +1, 3%. In correspondence with the stop to trading in Europe, the futures for October delivery on Brent are in the red by 0.3% at 72.9 dollars a barrel. Two speeds for Mediaset (-1.09%), after the news of the agreement with Vivendi for the closure of pending disputes, and Safilo (+ 0.99%), which benefited from the decision of the French Antitrust to drop the charges against the Venetian company.
