Facebook and Instagram, Zuckerberg: “1 billion dollars to ‘creator'”

By the end of 2022 Facebook and Instagram will ‘reward’ the ‘creators’ with 1 billion dollars, i.e. the content creators who use the two social networks to express their creativity. As Mark Zuckerberg explained in a post, the goal is to create “the best platforms to allow millions of creators to earn: investing in creators is not new to us, but I am excited about the possibility of continuing this work”. The project will include new bonus programs for creators who meet certain goals in using creative and monetization tools. Facebook says it is ready to provide “even initial funding to help creators produce their own content. Our goal is to help as many creators as possible to have long-term success on our apps.” Among the first options, that of providing bonuses to a selection of video creators who will use in-stream ads in the next 4 months. “The bonus programs – explains the social network – will be seasonal, will evolve and will be extended over time.
