Highways, Aspi with State Police for safety: awareness campaign is underway

“There are limits to be overcome, others to be respected”. This is the claim of the new communication campaign promoted by Autostrade per l’Italia in collaboration with the State Police, which recalls the importance of respecting the rules on roads and motorways. A message of high impact, with an exceptional testimonial: Ambra Sabatini, one of the stars of national sport who at the age of 19 won the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics and set the world record of 100 meters. Born in 2002, the athlete embraced the cause of the Aspi Group and the State Police also by virtue of her personal history: in 2019, in fact, following a road accident, she suffered the amputation of her left leg. “After those moments” Sabatini declares in the video launched for the campaign, “I understood even more that there are limits to be overcome and limits to be respected. Our dreams, different from each other, push us to go beyond all fear, while the rules of the road are fixed points, the same for all, limits not to be crossed “. Use seat belts, do not take alcohol or drugs, avoid getting distracted or use your smartphone while driving, always respect the speed limits: these are the widespread messages, aimed at discouraging incorrect and dangerous behaviors which are among the main causes of accidents on roads and highways. And it is on these aspects that the campaign aims to raise awareness among users, with the aim of reaching the greatest number of people. The initiative, which will accompany users in view of the physiological increase in traffic during the Easter holidays and in the following weeks, is the continuation of a virtuous partnership between Autostrade per l’Italia and the State Police, which has been going on successfully for years.
