“During this year we have always collaborated with the institutions and presented potentially sustainable projects also with the Recovery plan, also to make a substantial contribution to the development of this initiative. Terna finances itself independently. But we still wanted to present projects that were consistent with the PNRR and the ten-year plan. Certainly there is also a potential contribution for Tyrrhenian Link and for Sacoi. We are generically included in the clusters of potential funding but not specifically as a project: it is not a primary target but certainly we will talk about it in the future”. This was stated by Terna’s CEO, Stefanno Donnarumma during the press conference on the occasion of the presentation of the 2021 Development Plan. “For us – Donnarumma underlines – it is important that all these investments that have to do with the energy transition are supported and with the work we have to do. We can certainly make a contribution in terms of enabling the system on other sectors that will be financed with recovery “.
