Harvard Business School Club of Italy, Petrone and Lugiato at the top


Raffaele Petrone (manager of Private Equity) president, Paolo Lugiato (Chief Operating Officer of Auditel) vice president, will lead the Harvard Business School (HBS) Club of Italy, the association that brings together former students of the famous American Business School residing in Italy . The annual general meeting elected them and also renewed the board of directors composed of Franca Bertagnin Benetton (CEO of Evoluzione SpA, Director of Edizione Srl and Benetton Group, to name but a few), Massimiliano Catanese (Director KPMG), Marco Colombo (CEO of Partecipazioni Industriali Group), Matteo Coppola (Managing Director and Senior Partner of Boston Consulting Group in Milan), Andrea Costantini (Executive Vice President of the Agrati Group), Jean-Pierre Di Benedetto (Managing Partner of the Private Equity pan -European Argos Wityu) and Samuele Pasi (independent consultant of M&A advisory, former General Manager of ArcelorMittal Italy and JPMorgan executive). “I am deeply honored to have been appointed President of the Association. It is extremely inspiring to work with business leaders, financial managers, academics and entrepreneurs from different generations of our community. At a time when our country is overcoming the health emergency, we aim to energize the organization and support the presence of the Harvard Business School in Italy by focusing our discussion on important issues of business, management, economy, finance and culture. . Without doubt, with the support of our outstanding board members, we will address the challenges and enable many of HBS’s graduates in Italy to foster their personal growth, leadership and continuous learning in the spirit of our community’s values, ”said Petrone. What is the Harvard Business School Club of Italy The Harvard Business School Club of Italy is a non-profit organization that has several hundred members divided between entrepreneurs, managers and academics, residing in Italy. The association is a social and professional network whose goal is to make a difference by influencing the community, promoting leadership and continuous learning. Recently, several leading exponents of the Italian business community participated in the events held by the Club, including such as: Vittorio Colao (current Minister for technological innovation and digital transition and former CEO of the Vodafone Group) and Corrado Passera (current CEO of Illimity Bank). The association also hosted discussions with several well-known Harvard professors, including former rector Nitin Nohria, as well as foreign personalities such as Anthony Scaramucci, the American financier who was the White House communications director during Donald Trump’s presidency.
