Pensions, government-trade union meeting

The meeting between the government and trade unions on pensions has begun. Today’s summit, which follows the Palazzo Chigi summit before Christmas, takes place at the Ministry of Labor: in fact, Minister Orlando will preside over the meeting with the leaders of CGIL, CISL and UIL. Also present was the Minister of Economy, Daniele Franco and Marco Leonardi, pension expert and advisor of Palazzo Chigi. Today’s round will sanction the kick-off of a long and awaited match: the hottest chapters of the confrontation, flexibility in exit, guarantee pensions for young people, recognition of care work for women, supplementary pensions.
