Fondo Ipo Fashion & Design acquires the majority of the Pence 1979 brand

The Ipo Fashion & Design fund acquired the majority of Pence 1979, a historic brand specializing in the production of chinos, dyed fabrics and denim. Dora Zecchin, daughter of Otello Zecchin, the original founder of the brand, will remain the minority co-owner of the company as well as taking on the role of creative director in IpoF & D. “I am excited and happy for this new path that is outlined for Pence 1979 – says Dora Zecchin -. Simultaneously with the acquisition of the majority of the shares of the IpoF & D brand, it signed an exclusive multi-year license agreement with Cpa, the manufacturer of Pence 1979, in order to guarantee qualitative continuity both in terms of image and product, distinctive features of the Venetian brand.
