Montanaro (Ancl): “we need vaccination obligations and clear rules, no bureaucracy”

“Everyone, be they workers or employers, would like some normality. Let’s get the vaccine and move on.” This was stated at Adnkronos by the president of the National Association of Labor Consultants, Dario Montanaro, underlining that in the “real world everything is more linear: there is no such dualism on the vaccine and on the green pass”. What weighs on the world of work, however, “is the vaccination bureaucracy” that makes life difficult. “We would like a normality and this normality coincides with the vaccination obligation or with the reinforced green pass”, explains Montanaro, recalling that “no employee representation has ever been against the vaccination obligation”. For the president of the ANCL “there must be no room for questionability” of the rules. “We need certain and clear rules” in the application of the anti-covid rules. “Free will or free interpretation cannot be left to the worker or the employer”. At this moment, Montanaro points out, “we are collecting important signals about the restart. Let’s not complicate the process with the ‘vaccination bureaucracy’. We all have to focus on productivity and work”. In companies, he notes, “there are few cases of no vax suspended due to lack of green pass. There are also very few cases in companies because companies comply with anti-covid regulations. The vast majority of workers, then, want to work”. Precisely for this reason, underlines Montanaro, “the decrease in quarantine days and the substantial elimination of the quarantine for those who have had the third dose go in the right direction”.
