Bper Banca, as of June 21, incorporates another 33 Intesa Sp

Bper Banca completes the acquisition of an important business unit from the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, already largely carried out on 22 February with the transfer of 455 branches and 132 operating points. In fact, the Institute is preparing to incorporate another 33 branches (31 branches and 2 operating points) on Monday 21 June, all located in Lombardy. A note communicates it. The process of integrating the 33 branches involves two of the 17 Bper Banca Regional Departments active on the peninsula. In detail, 26 new branches will become part of the Milan Regional Management, to which the provinces of Milan, Pavia, Monza and Brianza and Lodi belong, while 7 branches will become part of the Bergamo Regional Management. “With the incorporation of these branches in Lombardy, a far-reaching operation is completed, which has produced significant growth in size, while at the same time improving the strategic positioning of our banking group”, commented Stefano Rossetti, deputy general manager of Bper Bank. “The process of integrating the business unit took place in compliance with the timescales set out in the agreements. After having guaranteed full operational continuity and relations with new customers in the transition phase, we are now heavily engaged in commercial development activities. the aim is to further increase the quality of services offered to families and businesses, making our structures even more efficient “, concluded Rossetti.
