Inps, the ‘Inps for all, agile network of Welfare’ agreement with Caritas Ambrosiana is underway

The “Inps for all, Agile Welfare Network” convention was signed today by the regional director of Lombardy Giovanni Di Monde and by the director of the metropolitan coordination of Milan Michele Salomone with all the diocesan Caritas of Lombardy, led by Luciano Gualzetti. The aim of the agreement is to extend the “INPS for all” project, launched by the Institute in 2019 to facilitate access to INPS services by those who, although potentially entitled to them, find it difficult to use them to due to the context of marginalization or the condition of economic, social and family fragility in which they live. The “INPS for all” project was born in 2019 from the desire to be close to those in difficulty and to facilitate access to the services provided by INPS, with the aim of promoting social integration, removing the obstacles that prevent ” access to welfare and social security services, protect the social and economic needs of individuals and families and create islands of reception and communication. In particular, “INPS for all” is aimed at individuals, homeless or homeless families and all those who find themselves in situations of serious economic and personal difficulty, to intercept their unexpressed needs and prevent them from being excluded from the support measures that they are due. The project, in fact, has allowed the verification and therefore the access to income / pension of citizenship, family allowance of the municipalities, maternity allowance of the municipalities, baby bonus, birth bonus, nursery bonus, Naspi, social allowance, civil invalidity. The ceremony took place on the sidelines of the debate “Solidarity synergies for a common rebirth”, in the presence of the INPS president Pasquale Tridico, the minister of cultural heritage Dario Franceschini, the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala, the councilor for the family, social solidarity , disability and equal opportunities of the Lombardy region Alessandra Locatelli and the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Milan Franco Agnesi, also on the occasion of the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Lombardy Regional Directorate and the Metropolitan Coordination Directorate of Milan at the historic Palazzo Missori, in Piazza Missori in Milan.The decision to reuse the historic building for institutional purposes, born as the headquarters of the Institute in 1931 and designed by the architect Marcello Piacentini, represents the most important intervention in recent years in the management of real estate assets in Lombardy. “Reopening at this moment Palazzo Missori, now restored and reorganized for the Inps offices in Lombardy and Milan, has a symbolic meaning of trust in the recovery and respect of our cultural heritage. But also the concrete meaning of the centrality of welfare and support for society . We start here today, therefore, from here for the relaunch of the Inps for all project, dedicated to reaching the most fragile and disadvantaged people through the support of the third sector. The functional redevelopment of the building is part of a process of rationalization of the instrumental resources of the Institute that the Lombardy Regional Management initiated and intensified during the year 2020 with the main objective of enhancing the owned buildings and making them functional to allocation of offices. The restoration works involved in particular the public hall on the ground floor, now renamed Sala Italia, the monumental spiral staircase, the offices and the reception rooms on the first floor.
