In the world 2.9 billion people not connected to the internet, 37% of the world population

In the world there are 2.9 billion people who are not yet connected to the internet: this is 37% of the world population. About 96% of these 2.9 billion live in developing countries. This is what the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the specialized institution of the UN, notes.
