The new Irpef is more popular with incomes of up to 50,000 euros (+77 euros per month)

The new Irpef will appeal above all to incomes up to 50,000 euros which, thanks to the new rates, will see their monthly income increase by 77 euros. Income up to € 15,000, which does not benefit from the tax changes, will not notice any changes. For higher incomes, however, the benefit stabilizes from 75,000 euros upwards, which will be able to count on 23 euros more. The data are contained in the Fiscoequo tables, which calculated the effects of the new tax on individuals. The government and the majority have found a meeting point that provides for the allocation of 7 billion euros to start the tax reform. The resources will be used to reduce two rates (from 27% to 25% and from 38% to 35%), eliminate one rate (41%) which will be replaced with 43% and will start from 50,000 euros. From the elaborations it emerges that for the lowest income brackets nothing will change compared to the past; to see the first effects it is necessary to reach 17,500 euros (+4 euros per month) which double to 20,000 (+8 euros). For incomes of up to 25,000 euros, a ‘profit’ of 17 euros has been estimated, rising to 22 euros for those reaching 28,000 euros. For those who declare 30,000 euros a year, the benefits will reach 27 euros, which will rise to 39 euros for those who reach up to 35,000 euros. At 40,000 euros, the ‘bonus’ will be 52 euros per month, which rises to 64 euros for those who declare up to 45,000 euros. The lucky ones who have an annual income of 50,000 euros will have the greatest advantages (+77 euros), while from the next bracket the descent begins: +56 euros for incomes up to 55,000 euros; +48 euros for income up to 60,000 euros; +39 euro for income up to 65,000 euro; +31 euros for incomes up to 70,000 euros and, finally, +23 euros for incomes from 75,000 to 500,000 euros.
