Almaviva joins the Smact Innovation Ecosystem, the new partnership program launched by the Competence Center of the Northeast that aims to respond to the need of many companies, especially SMEs, to be guided and supported in digital transition processes. The program got underway in recent weeks and the first major Italian company to join is the Almaviva Group, the global network leading the digital transformation. The goal, underlines the Group – which has 17 companies, 66 offices around the world and 45,000 people, of which 10,000 in Italy – is to systematize all 4.0 excellence and create virtuous mechanisms of ‘contamination’ between technology providers, end users. , universities and research centers. Smact Competence Center is the competence center for industry 4.0 that brings together 41 partners including universities and research centers in the Northeast and a few days ago the Competence Center inaugurated its new headquarters in the area of ​​the San Giobbe economic campus Venice, thus intensifying the relationship with the Ca ‘Foscari University on issues related to Industry 4.0. “Innovating is a process, a transformative path that must be undertaken together. Smact’s mission is precisely to create new virtuous connections, between universities and providers, companies and research centers, up to the institutions” underlines Fabrizio Dughiero, president of the Competence Center Management Board. The Smact Innovation Ecosystem is a partnership program that is divided into three levels with increasing integration: Cloud, Edge and Core. Completed at the end of 2020, the program was already signed by Dassault Systèmes in March 2021. The members of the ecosystem are end users, technology solutions providers and university-research centers. By joining the Smact Ecosystem, partners can take advantage of various concrete benefits including: contacts with all universities and research centers in the Triveneto, access to first-level training courses, networking events, support in participating in tenders, access to specific skills in certain verticals. But they will also be able to exhibit their technological solutions in the Smact Live Demos, 4.0 demonstrators widespread in the territories – they will be born in 5 locations in the Northeast – which will allow them to see and touch the potential of digital transformation. Almaviva reports that in particular its focus “will be on the theme of digital as a tool of sustainability, which allows ecosystems to be enabled, processes optimized and models redefined by optimizing contexts”. Almaviva also recalls that it is “constantly looking for innovative solutions for the integration of ecosystems in various areas – digital health, agriculture, environment – thanks to the support of scientific studies and the involvement of the main players involved in the processes”.
