Freedom income, how to apply: requirements and methods

INPS has published circular no. 166/2021 on the ‘Fund for the income of freedom for women victims of violence’, established to favor paths of autonomy and emancipation of women victims of violence in conditions of particular vulnerability or poverty through economic independence. According to what the social security institution communicates in a note, the income of liberty is recognized by the INPS with a contribution of up to 400 euros per capita per month, in a single solution for a maximum of twelve months, within the limit of the allocated resources. to each Region or Autonomous Province. Intended for women assisted by anti-violence centers recognized by the Regions and by social services in the paths of escape from violence, the Inps still specifies, the contribution is aimed at supporting primarily the expenses for housing and personal autonomy, as well as school and training courses. of any minor sons and daughters. A specific platform for connection with the Italian municipalities has been set up which will allow the application drawn up by the interested parties to be forwarded.
