Expo 2020, the ‘Urban Renaissance’ workshop of the Inarcassa Foundation concluded

The three days of ‘Urban Renaissance’, a workshop conceived and promoted by the Inarcassa Foundation, ended. Thanks to the collaboration with the General Commissariat for Italy’s Participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, some young Italian professionals under 40 have had the opportunity to work alongside their counterparts operating in Dubai, under the guidance of internationally renowned architects and engineers. The event was organized in collaboration with Emaar, one of the largest companies in the world in real estate development, sector leader in the United Arab Emirates. Scheduled during the Urban & Rural Development Week, the initiative saw 15 young Italian professionals – 8 women and 7 men, engineers and architects – working alongside 15 colleagues operating in the United Arab Emirates for a close professional comparison, with the aim to carry out an ‘Urban Renaissance’ project in the Downtown Boulevard area of ​​Dubai, one of the most attractive places in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. “The ‘Urban Renaissance’ workshop was born from an idea of ​​collaboration with the Italian Pavilion more than a year ago. It was a job that gave exceptional results. We created a group of young people, Italians and Emiratis, who worked together, first online and then together for three days.
