Poste obtains two new international certifications and strengthens esg principles in business strategies

Poste Italiane takes a new step forward in integrating ESG principles into business strategies and the entire value chain and further increases the degree of reliability, transparency and reputation among savers, suppliers and stakeholders. The group led by Matteo Del Fante has in fact achieved the Uni Iso 22222 Certification of the more than 8,000 financial advisors who assist savers in their investment choices and the Certification of compliance with Uni Iso 20400 in terms of sustainable purchases. The certifications were obtained on the basis of international verification standards and on the one hand represent the completion of the path of acquiring the technical skills and ethical behavior of financial consultants; on the other hand, they also introduce the international standard in procurement processes and in the management of the supply chain for which Poste Italiane has also set up the Green Procurement area, dedicated to sustainable purchases. “The excellent result confirms the constant commitment of the whole company to make the relationship of trust with stakeholders, customers and citizens ever more solid – commented the co-general manager of Poste Italiane, Giuseppe Lasco – every day we are committed to support the broadest application of ethical and sustainability principles to enhance the development of professional skills, offer services tailored to the customer and at the same time provide the highest guarantees of transparency and legality in purchasing procedures, to protect everyone our interlocutors “. Poste Italiane was the first of the large Italian companies to achieve Uni Iso 22222 and Uni Ts 11348 Certification for the investment advisory service model for financial advisors engaged in the role of personal financial planner. Furthermore, the simultaneous certification on purchasing methods places Poste Italiane among the main economic and productive realities of the country qualified in terms of sustainable management of purchasing processes and relations with suppliers. The achievement of these goals confirms the attention of Poste Italiane’s management and employees to the issues of sustainability and inclusion, and aims to achieve full integration with the other certified Management Systems of the Group.
