The police discovered new stages of the pyramid scheme with the Košice notary Kavečanský

KOŠICE. Košice has had one notary less for more than four months. In mid-May, the Notary Chamber of the Slovak Republic suspended the performance of the function of 41-year-old Vojtech Kavečanský. At the same time, she filed a criminal complaint against an unknown perpetrator.

The police accepted the report, checked the circumstances stated in it and in early August accused Kavečanský of a particularly serious crime of fraud. The court subsequently took him into custody.

The Košice citizen was originally charged with nine separate acts with a damage of more than one million euros. However, the police announced in the summer that they were examining further notarial financial operations and did not rule out that the accusation could be extended. And it happened …

The musician returned from Prague to Prešov years later: the Czechs sold the state to a Slovak thief

He lived in Prague for many years, but decided to return to Prešov. He says that the staggered “mother of cities” is no longer what it used to be. He has Czech citizenship, he could not miss the recent Czech elections. He made an “election” trip to Prague’s Žižkov.

Vladimír Soško worked in Prague as a studio and concert guitarist. He played mostly the so-called “Black music”, resp. world music in international ensembles. He studied aesthetics and Slovak at the Faculty of Prešov, but all his life he lived mainly on music. He started with her in the nineties in his hometown.

He made a new coat of one-way from the cycle paths on the Terrace. Cyclists collide

KOŠICE. For many years, cyclists rode on cycle paths on both sides of the busy SNP Class in the Košice housing estate Terasa in both directions.

They were separated from pedestrians by a line on asphalt, which had not been renewed for years and thus completely disappeared in some sections.

In April and May of this year, the horizontal traffic signs were renewed. The transport project was commissioned by the West district, and the city was in charge of its implementation.

After the renewal and addition of traffic signs, in addition to lines on the asphalt, directional arrows were added, which turned the sidewalks on each side of the wide street into a one-way bicycle.

EASTERN SLOVAKIA. No more caroms or wedding receptions in restaurants, window sales, closing gyms, banning educational courses or driving schools. These restrictions will also apply to black districts from Monday, October 18.

Five districts (Stará Ľubovňa, Bardejov and Svidník, Kysucké Nové Mesto and Čadca) from this date moves to the strictest covid automat mode, which is the third degree of threat.

People living in the black districts have to get used to the much stricter rules that applied to them in the milder stages of the covid machine. Vaccinations will also feel more pronounced restrictions.

Mural in Prešov is unique, it combines the old with the new. It will spread throughout the city

PREŠOV. Thanks to murals, the old dilapidated wall on Okružná Street has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, from both sides.

Legal art paintings on the walls in public spaces are to appear in other places in Prešov.

The project of paintings and depictions of historic Prešov was initiated by the civic association JD – Galéria JL with a vision to remove ugly and derogatory inscriptions on the wall in the nearby city center.

New paintings are gradually being created every year since 2017, and the last of them was completed just a few weeks ago. The project has enjoyed immense popularity since its inception.
