A booster dose for all caregivers. They can now be injected with a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, the government announced Thursday, October 7. It follows an opinion published Wednesday by the High Authority of Health (HAS). “We are implementing the HAS opinion: all caregivers will be affected by the booster dose, such as relatives of immunocompromised people. I call on all eligible people to quickly take their booster dose”, says the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, on Twitter.

“As of today, caregivers who have been fully vaccinated (…) for more than six months can resort to the vaccination booster”, also declared the spokesman of the government, Gabriel Attal, after the Health Defense Council then the Council of Ministers.

And the secretary of state to specify : “It is nearly three million caregivers who are affected by this opening of the vaccine booster campaign”, he continued.
