Saková sees the amendment of paragraph 363 as a strengthening of the powers of the special prosecutor Lipšica – Topky.sk

They stated this in Sunday’s political discussion show Na telo on TV Markíza. Grendel emphasized that the reassessment of paragraph 363 was already mentioned in the program statement of the governments of Igor Matovič and Eduard Heger (both OĽANO). He ruled out that such a step should take place for a special prosecutor. He noted that Attorney General Maroš Žilinka also mentioned the change of paragraph to his post during the selection procedure.

He reminded that people were promised before the election that they would investigate corruption. According to him, this has not been the case so intensively as it is now. He pointed out that 26 people had already admitted that corruption had taken place under the previous government. Saková, in turn, reacted that the police had their hands untied during the operation of Milan Lučanský at the head of the Police Force. He claims that law enforcement authorities had the same “untied hands” at the time.

They both agreed that the charges should not be based on just one penitent in cases. “It is not possible for a penitent who has committed a crime and should have been given 25 years or a life sentence to escape with probation and financial punishment only because he talks and accuses people whose accusations are not entirely true.” Sakova added. Grendel added that he did not know that there should be changes in the management of the Slovak Information Service.
