AdnKronos: ‘The Book of Facts 2021’ is out, Italian edition ‘World Almanac’

31 years have passed since the first publication in Italy of the ‘Book of Facts’, the Italian edition of the famous ‘World Almanac’, published by the Adnkronos Group: an editorial history that testifies to the validity and authoritativeness of the initiative as well as the success achieved at the public over time and which will now see in bookshops from 7 October – and in promotion on the motorway Autogrill network – ‘Il Libro dei Fatti 2021’. A year to be read, to remember and reflect on the facts that marked 2020: from politics to international relations, from economics to news, from sport to entertainment, from culture to art, from science to technology, with special inserts on sustainability and medicine related to the Covid pandemic. Opening the ‘Book of Facts 2021’ is the institutional intervention of the Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, followed on the inside pages by those signed by the ministers Roberto Cingolani, Vittorio Colao, Mara Carfagna and Marco Minniti. And it will be possible to re-read in full the interview that Pope Francis gave to Gian Marco Chiocci, director of the AdnKronos news agency. The chronology of all the events that took place during the year, day by day, is accompanied by photojournalistic inserts with insights into the main news. In the spotlight, the activities of the Government and Parliament and the interventions of the Quirinale; political life and the internal affairs of parties; regional elections; the vote in the US with the passage in the White House from the Republican Trump to the Democrat Biden; the activity of the European Union and Brexit; the wars in Libya and Syria. And again: the attacks of international terrorism; the landings of migrants on the coasts of the Mediterranean; the revolt in prisons; the great trials and cases of crime news; news on the Vatican and the life of the Church; the events of sport and performances in the world of TV, cinema, theater, music, literature; farewell to the great Italian and international personalities.
