“We are particularly proud to inaugurate today our new regional management which represents a strategic project of great importance not only for us, but also for the Piedmont area” underlined Massimiliano Silvestri, president of Lidl Italia, inaugurating the new logistics center in Carmagnola ( TO). The Carmagnola logistics center represents the largest Lidl logistics center in Italy in terms of storage capacity. The new structure will supply, starting from November, over 60 supermarkets. “Despite the new challenges caused by the pandemic – continued Silvestri – we have continued to pursue our projects in terms of innovation, investments and social responsibility, thanks also to the confidence that people demonstrate against us every day. The investment in this important operation will allow us to further optimize our distribution efficiency, making the supply of our stores even more functional, with a consequent positive impact in the service offered to the customer “.
