According to official North Korean media, the North Korean Academy of Defense Sciences completed a test on a “newly developed” Hwasong-8 hypersonic missile at dawn today. The missile was launched from Ryongrim County, Jagang Province, under the supervision of the secretary of the Central Workers’ Party Committee, Pak Jong Chon, it was pointed out.
