After three seasons in Brittany, M’Baye Niang left Stade Rennais to join the Girondins de Bordeaux where he hopes to relaunch his career. Presented this Tuesday at Haillan, the Senegalese striker left a message to his now ex-club.

“Rennes is a club that brought me a lot. We made history. I only remember the positive. It could have ended better, but with Rennes we are not sorry,” said the former player from Stade Malherbe de Caen, who then claimed that Bordeaux was his “number one choice”.
