Green pass Italy, checks in over 5 thousand activities: 236 violations

The control campaign by the Nas carabinieri on compliance with the obligation of the green pass for access to certain activities and services continues, with particular attention to the sectors considered to be at the highest level of risk due to possible non-compliance. Since the entry into force of the legislation, over 5,000 thousand activities have been inspected, contesting 236 violations, of which 128, due to failure to verify, to the owners of businesses and activities where certification is required, such as restaurants and bars, gyms , betting rooms and means of transport. A further 108 penalties were instead applied to customers for non-possession of the certificate. From the Nas inspections it emerged that 116 penalties are attributable to food and beverage administration facilities, such as restaurants, pizzerias and bars, 58 are related to gyms, swimming pools and wellness centers, 38 to betting rooms, game rooms and recreational activities, while 24 in the field of long-distance transport services, for a total value of over 94 thousand euros in administrative sanctions, in addition to five criminal violations charged to as many people, reported to the judicial authorities for crimes of forgery and substitution of person as they are held responsible for having used Covid green certificates of other people or for having exhibited false documentation certifying negativity to Covid-19. During the checks, the Nas interventions also concerned the correct application of the remaining containment measures to the epidemic spread, contesting a further 196 violations for non-compliance with the sanitation operations of the vehicles, the presence of dispensers for hand sanitation, at the use of masks, to information to users on rules of conduct and distancing. Temporary closure orders from one to five days were also issued for nine businesses, including two gyms in Turin and Palermo, a bar in the province of Campobasso, an ethnic fast-food restaurant in Cremona, a restaurant in the province of Messina. and a betting room in Ardea (Rome).
