The Indian summer was short-lived. After several sunny days in most of the country, the rain will return to the French sky from tomorrow, Saturday, for the whole weekend, according to Météo France forecasts.

The south of France will again suffer from the rise of a cold drop from the Iberian Peninsula. From Saturday morning, the Atlantic coast between New Aquitaine and Loire-Atlantique will be the scene of morning showers, before the disturbances spread to Brittany, the Massif Central or Center-Val-de-Loire. in the afternoon. Locally, the rains may turn into thunderstorms. The Mediterranean coasts will share the same scenario.

Despite numerous clouds in the morning, the clearings will prevail and the temperatures, identical to those in the south of the country, will be high for the season: the 25 ° C stage will be exceeded everywhere, while the north-eastern quarter will see the mercury climb to 27 ° C. Corsica can count up to 32 ° C.

The territories in the south of the country will nevertheless see the rains intensify in the late afternoon. Stormy showers will sweep from the Pyrenees to the Gulf of Lion. The expected accumulations are of the order of 20 to 30 mm, with locally 40 to 60 mm. But it is the Massif des Cévennes that will wipe the precipitation the most: 80 to 100 mm of rain are expected for this episode.
