The work week is over, so many people are interested in what the weekend will be like. The last two weekends were extremely pleasant, during the day the sun or partly cloudy, but in the evening it was already cold and the Slovaks had to take out their jackets or sweaters.

According to meteorologists from SHMÚ, this weekend will also be extremely pleasant, with temperatures climbing up to 25 degrees Celsius.

Saturday

On the night of Friday to Saturday, there will be small clouds, sometimes increased. Fog or low clouds may occur in the morning. A light westerly to northwest wind will blow at a speed of up to 20 kilometers per hour. The temperature reaches 12 to 7 degrees Celsius, in the valleys in places around 5 degrees Celsius. According to meteorologists from the south, pressure will begin to reach our area higher and along its northern edge warmer air will start to flow from us to the southwest.

During the day it will be clear to partly cloudy, especially in the north increased clouds. However, it will be warm, the highest daily temperature will reach 18 to 23 degrees Celsius, in the south of the Banská Bystrica region up to 25 degrees Celsius. In the mountains at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level, the temperature reaches a maximum of 12 degrees Celsius. A light, mostly southwest wind will blow within 20 kilometers per hour.

At night from Saturday to Sunday there will be partly cloudy, no wind or light breeze with a speed of up to 20 kilometers per hour. The lowest night temperature reaches 12 to 7 degrees Celsius, in the valleys in places up to 5 degrees Celsius. Fog or low clouds should be expected in the morning.

It will be clear and very warm during the day. “Above the Carpathian region there will be a faint field of higher pressure. At the same time, warm air will flow from our west to our area, “ explained by meteorologists. During the day the clouds will increase, the wind speed will reach a maximum of 20 kilometers per hour, mostly southeast wind will blow. The daily temperature reaches 22 to 27 degrees Celsius, in the north in places around 20 degrees Celsius.

Monday

However, the weather will gradually deteriorate at the beginning of the week. “In an insignificant pressure field, a crumbling occlusion front will move from the west to Central Europe,” informed meteorologists. The night from Sunday to Monday will be cloudy, with a light southwest wind. The lowest night temperature reaches 12 to 7, in the west and Honte mostly 17 to 12 degrees Celsius.

During the day, the reactionary warm weather will continue, but in the west it is necessary to count on showers. The highest temperature reaches 19 to 24 degrees Celsius, in the south it can be even warmer. The wind will be mostly southwest wind with a maximum speed of 20 kilometers per hour.
