Waste in Poland: Europe sets fire to the powder

Coming from elsewhere in Europe, often from Germany, waste accumulates in Poland, in gigantic illegal dumps and is never recycled. These mountains of rubbish often catch fire, by accident or arson.

Tired of passing for the free trash of Europe, the country tightens the screw, with the implementation, since 2018, of border controls, fines and dedicated intervention teams, equipped with drones.

Yet the waste mafia continues to operate under wraps. Our team investigated an illegal operation in the heart of rural Poland. On site, we discovered illegal waste from neighboring countries.
