Orange starts selling satellite TV from Skylink: Offer and prices – Živé.sk

As we wrote a month ago, Orange announcedthat it will cancel its own satellite service “Orange TV via satellite”. It will try to migrate its subscribers to cable TV and, where it does not work, it will offer a solution from a competing Skylink.

However, it does not bring anything revolutionary – it will only resell the same packages as Skylink. You will only receive a discount when combined with other services.

“During the first two weeks, the service will be available primarily to existing satellite customers, who can conveniently switch to Orange TV via cable (if they are in fixed TV coverage) or to the new Skylink TV for Orange,” says the provider.

Temporarily only for existing clients

The operator will actively address existing clients with satellite TV. There will be no costs associated with the transition. New applicants will be able to set up the service from October 6.

“In the future, we plan to focus mainly on television services, which allow us to provide richer content with higher added value for the customer. At the same time, however, we want every customer to have a complete portfolio of services at Orange, from which they can choose regardless of the location in which they live, ”says Martin Hromkovič, Director of B2C Marketing and Orange Brands.

Same offer as in Skylink

Orange will sell the same TV packages as Skylink, at the same prices. Prices and packages. List of stations can be found on the web. Please note that the Eurosport and Discovery channels are not available:

• Mini (67 stations) – 5.8 euros per month
• Smart (87 stations) – € 9.9 per month
• Multi (102 stations) – 12.9 euros per month
• Van (119 stations) – 15.9 euros per month
• Complete (128 stations) – 45 euros per month

The fee for a set-top box Kaon MZ-52 will be 2 euros per month. A card for the 2nd and 3rd TV in the household can be purchased with the service – you will pay up to 3.7 euros for each of them. An installation kit for one device costs 20 euros. It is 60 euros for a pair of devices and 80 euros for a trio. Installation by technicians is charged at almost 120 euros.

• HBO Max (including Cinemax a HBO Go) – EUR 10.9 per month

Lower price if you have a lump sum

Orange specified that if the client combines satellite TV with voice or internet programs, he will receive a discount of up to 20 percent:

• Mini – EUR 5.34 per month
• Smart – EUR 9.01 per month
• Multi – EUR 11.61 per month
• Van – EUR 14.31 per month
• Complete – EUR 40.5 per month
• HBO (including HBO Go) – EUR 7.12 per month
• HBO Max (including Cinemax a HBO Go) – EUR 8.72 per month
• Hungarian package – EUR 1.59 per month
• Man-X – EUR 8.32 per month
• Exxtra – EUR 7.76 per month

In combination, the operator favors both the second and third household cards – each of which costs 2.96 euros. Installation by technicians is for 10 euros and installation package from 10 euros.

“For customers who buy a new satellite service for fixed internet, there is also a discount from the monthly internet fee of up to 2 euros (according to the internet program),” he added.

When combining services into the Love package, the client will also receive a higher subsidy or more data in the voice program.
