Only 18-year-old Svrček competed with the Estonian for a bronze medal in the final meters, which he did not miss in the end. A new member of the Belgian Deceuninck-QuickStep profit, which he will join next summer, has once again shown great potential.

The cyclist, who currently works in the Italian stable Franco Ballerini, has already won fifteen victories in the current season and finished in eighth place at the recent European Championships in a race with a mass start.

After eliminating a three-member escape at the end of a 121-kilometer track, the peloton did not resist the attack of the later winner, who attacked on the last ascent. His arrival was captured by the Frenchman Gregoire and the Italian Belletta. In the last 5 km in the final round, Hagenes showed great strength and won in a sovereign way. The Frenchman lost 19 seconds to him, Mikhels and Svrček after 24.
